Neurological Physiotherapy
At the heart of rehabilitation for individuals living with a neurological injury.
Choose N-EFF - we’re here to support your journey.
IF IT’S GONNA BE, IT’S UP TO ME!Neurological Physiotherapy for Individuals Living with a Neurological Injury
At N-EFF Rehabilitation Centers, we offer neurological physiotherapy delivered by our team of specialized physiotherapists and trainers, tailored to meet the unique needs of our members. Our neurorehabilitation programs are developed for individuals living with a physical disability following neurological injuries such as strokes, spinal cord injuries, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and more.
We begin our journey together by establishing your goals—whether it’s maintaining your physical condition through physical rehabilitation, improving functional abilities, better managing pain, preparing for a sport, etc. We’re equipped to support you whether you’re just starting your rehabilitation and waiting for public services, or have been living with a neurological injury for several years.
Our Neurological Physiotherapy Services
Our physiotherapists and specialized trainers rely on evidence-based practices to determine the most appropriate treatment for your goals. We focus on an activity-based rehabilitation, meaning we target neuromuscular stimulation below the level of injury to promote recovery of motor tasks based on the principle of neuroplasticity*. To promote neuroplasticity, our treatments emphasize repetition, intensity, and task specificity. Examples of treatments include:
- Functional electrical stimulation using our cycling simulator
- Treadmill with weight suspension system
- Standing exercises
- And more
You can expect us to work on your mobility, cardiovascular fitness, muscle strength, balance, and more through our neurorehabilitation approach. We also incorporate manual physiotherapy techniques such as massage and joint mobilization.
